Via The Hindu

Bookworms in the city will be spoilt for choices with Page Turners, yet another book paradise launched here on Tuesday. Page Turners is Penguin’s first franchised store in the world that has nearly 15,000 titles of the publisher in the shelves.

A collaboration of Penguin Books India and Surya Infotainment Products, the bookstore marks Penguin’s 75th anniversary. The four-floored intellectual hub has spaces dedicated to bestsellers and classics, books on travel, philosophy, religion, international fiction and non-fiction, self-help, health and fitness, history and politics as well as biographies, Indian writers and books for children.

Page Turners makes an effort to reward regular customers with a loyalty programme through which privileged members will be able to take advantage of discounts and even have books delivered to their doorsteps.

It is an empty canvas,” says Laxminarayan.
