1. Book Release, Chennai

Oxford Bookstore, in association with Prakriti Foundation will release the book “Rope – snake, pot – Space” by Suraksha Giri on October 10 at the Oxford Book Store, Haddows Road at 5.30 p.m.

The first part of the book promises to assist readers in thinking up their own solutions to issues, based on their personal experiences. She compares it to the idea of how we may perceive a rope as a menacing snake when seen in the dark. It is through validated analysis that we confirm it is only a rope. The illusion of the ‘snake’ disappears, as it is resolved in the light of the new knowledge.

The second part of the book celebrates the oneness, which Suraksha says runs through everything in creation.
