Catch Us at the Hyderabad Literary Festival

The season of literature festivals and books fairs is here! Apart from catching us at the New Delhi World Book Fair, folks in Hyderabad can also attend some of the events we are a part of at the Hyderabad Literary Festival. The Hyderabad Literary Festiv.al is on from January 7 – 10, 2016 at the Hyderabad Public School.

EVENTS

Storytelling session by Sandhya Taksale
8th January, 2.00 p.m – 2.50 p.m, Venue – L1
Sandhya Taksale will be conducting a storytelling session around the book ‘The Boy and the Drum’ in Marathi. The story is a folktale about giving and kindness.
Panel discussion on ‘Writing for Children’
9th January, 11 a.m – 11.50 a.m, Venue – L2
Sandhya Taksale will be moderating a discussion on ‘Writing for Children’. The participants are- Paro Anand, Nandini Nayar and Poile Sengupta.

The Hyderabad Literary Festival (HLF) is a prestigious, international event organized every year in the month of January. HLF is a multilingual and multidisciplinary event and its programme includes conversations with authors, readings, panel discussions, workshops, book launches, cultural programmes, and activities for college students and school children.
The traditional highlights of the festival are the Guest Nation and the Indian Language in Focus. At HLF 2016 year the Guest Nation will be Singapore and the Language in Focus will be Marathi.
