Time to Dive In!

We have just stepped into the second week of our #EnvironmentMonth campaign. In the first week, we looked at the stories of real life environment heroes and the amazing work they are doing.
The theme for World Environment Day 2018 was beating plastic pollution. 8th June was also World Oceans Day! Wondering what the connection between these two days are? One of the most comprehensive studies on plastic polluttion estimates that 8 million tonnes of plastic went into the ocean in 2010. Oceans that are home to a stunning array of plant and animal life.
This week, we encourage you to dive right into the ocean with a special set of books. These books remind us exactly who we share our planet with, and will hopefully help readers young and old think twice before reaching for a one time use plastic, that will mostly likely end up in someone else’s home.
