Book Review : Gujarat

Last month, we were giving out review copies of few of our books. We were excited to hear what all of you thought of our books (the good things and the bad things!) and hope that this feedback from people (educators, parents, book lovers, children) will help us create better books and help you choose books for your own kids.
This book review comes from Prachi Deva who received our book ‘Gujarat’.

“Pictures speak louder than words”. This holds true for this book. The author takes the child on a trip through Gujarat, through his colorful sketches. Through vivid illustrations, he seeks to captivate the attention of the child and invoke a curiosity in him or her to know more about the state. ‘The large turban on the boy’s head’ or ‘the colorful puppet’, will immediately catch the attention of the ‘young mind’. A must- read for all children, it will also acquaint the child with Indian Art and Culture. Very subtly, the author strives to leave a lasting impression on the child’s mind.’

In her email to us, Prachi also mentions that ‘My son who is ten years old was delighted to read the books you sent and said that they were the ‘best books’ he has read in a long time’.
