StoryCorps

We’ve mentioned the StoryCorps project on our blog before. StoryCorps is one of the largest oral history projects of its kind: since 2003, over 50,000 everyday people have interviewed family and friends. While looking for something on YouTube yesterday, I came across the YouTube channel managed by StoryCorps. Some of those recordings have been turned into the powerful animations. You can watch all the animated shorts here.

“Joshua Littman, a 12-year-old boy with Asperger’s syndrome, interviews his mother, Sarah. Joshua’s unique questions and Sarah’s loving, unguarded answers reveal a beautiful relationship that reminds us of the best—and the most challenging—parts of being a parent.”
