Story Writing Workshop, Bangalore

In this story writing workshop, you would get introduced to the concepts of character building, idea generation and plot creation. At the end of it, you will have the skeleton of your first story ready. We would also encourage a reading session of the work of aspiring writers within the group.

Ice Breaker (60 minutes)

Character Creation (2 hours)

Date: Saturday, 13 August
Time: 10.30 a.m. – 5.30 p.m.
Venue: British Library, Bangalore
Age group: 18 years and above
No. of participants: 15
Registration Fees: 1500/- for members and 3000/- for non members. The fee includes lunch and refreshments.
Note: Non members registering for the workshop will be entitled to an annual membership at the library

About the trainer: Asha Francis was one among the 15 people who were chosen by the British Council to attend a creative writers’ training workshop in Chennai in November 2009. She has been working as a teacher and trainer for the last nine years and is currently with Hewlett Packard working as a Training Lead. Teaching and writing are her major interests.
