Event : Visual Narration of 'Brahmaputra Diary'

A quick reminder that the New Delhi World Book Fair is still on. If you’ve not been there yet, the fair is on till 17th January (and if you’ve already visited, then there is no such thing as too many books – come back :)). Say hello to our newest stories and pick up some of your older favourites at the Pratham Books Stall (Stall no.230, Hall no.14).

Also, if you are wondering when to visit the fair during this long weekend, we are hosting a visual narration of one of our newest books. 
16th JANUARY, 12 p.m onwards, at Children’s PavilionBrahmaputra Diary: A delectable photographic book by one of South Asia’s foremost photographers and cultural activists. Shahidul Alam’s thrilling travelogue as he traverses the high altitudes of the Tibetan plateau in search of the source to the gentle Bhatiali songs of Abbasuddin in Bangladesh where the river changes names three times, this journey takes you through exciting terrains across three countries. A visual narrative accompanied by music will introduce you to the majestic river Brahmaputra.
