Via designboom
The twist chair by jonas lyndby jensen creates a cocoon like environment using a single loop. The chair is built from a twisted band which serves as the seat, backrest and a shelter for the sitter. The loop shape not only provides a variety of seating positions but also serves as a sound barrier, sheltering the user from the noise of their surrounding environment. this functionality was deliberate since the project was first developed for use in a library.
