Belated Twittering Thursday Post

We started the week by listening to a folk tune called “Chanda Mama” which was created by a collaborative music project which brings t0ogether musicians from across the world. Then, we shared our book Annual Haircut Day with our Twitter friends. It was a pleasant surprise to see Pratham Books and our World Storytelling Day event being mentioned on Saffron Tree. Find out about book-related events taking place across the world in the month of May.

It was inspiring to watch these impressive young students take time out of their school day to help teach street children. Please watch this inspiring video. We were also reading about audio sites helping illiterates access online information. Read this hilarious post on Scrabble letters explaining how they are coping in the economic downturn. By joining Facebook, MySpace and Twiiter, the White House went a little more social. We also read “Voyage to the World of Illustration” Exhibit and the Paju Bookcity Book Festival for Children- Seoul, Korea“. Apart from smiling at the cute Failwhale illustration we see at times on Twitter, we took a look at the other illustrations of the Failwhale creator.
