National Book Week 2011

National Book Week is organized by National Book Trust and is celebrated from 14th-20th November. This year’s theme is ‘Wings of Imagination‘.

A highlight of this year’s fair is the participation of the Publishers’ Action Group (Pag-e) through its member publishers – Katha, Tulika, CBT, Eklavya, Room to Read, Arvind Kumar Publishers and Pratham Books.

The book fair will be open from 10am to 5:30pm at Nehru Bhavan, Vasant Kunj (14th-16th November, 2011) and from 11am-8pm  at Poorva Sanskritik Kendra, Laxmi Nagar (18th-20th November, 2011)

*Participation in these activities will be on a first come, first serve basis.

The stage as well as an activity corner will be available for children during spare hours for imaginative

performances, such as dance, music, drama, puppetry, magic, origami, creative writing etc.
