That’s What Friends Are For – Nilomee Jesrani’s Story for the #6FrameStoryChallenge

For the past one and a half months, our blog has been exploding with colours, illustrations and a whole lot of inspiration (all thanks to the participants of the #6FrameStoryChallenge). We have finally come to the final entry that we received (but this is really just the beginning of the possibilities our upcoming story platform will offer) and it feels serendipitous that the last entry we are sharing is titlted ‘That’s what friends are for’. Bears seemed to have received a lot of love in all the stories that we got and Nilomee Jesrani’s story stars another lovable bear. What do bears, bees and baking have in common? Scroll down to find out.

Nilomee shares why she took part in challenge :

I loved the idea of making a story out of 6 frames, and was especially inspired to take part because the story gurus that are judging the entries are illustrators whom I follow and admite. Since it involved creating illustrations for children, it was the ideal challenge for me.

It was very motivating to see that a large community of illustrators was simultaneously participating. I loved seeing the updates on Facebook and the samples illustrated by the judges. I’m very excited to be a part of this and love the idea of creating stories and a story revolution for children in India.
