Geetanjali B’s Simple Black and White Tale for the #6FrameStoryChallenge

Just when we said that the we hadn’t seen a ‘vulture’ (from the word wishlist) appear in many of the narratives for the #6FrameStoryChallenge, we received Geetanjali’s story which featured this gorgeous looking vulture. Seriously! Look at the vulture’s eyes. In this story, a star drops out from the sky and the vulture plays a part in getting the star back to its home. Geetanjali generously states that she signed up for the challenge because ‘There are many wonderful illustrators from Pratham Books and I would appreciate the chance to be in that league”.

On why she took on the challenge, she says :

“This idea of the contest of interpreting a word into an image is quite interesting.
The different ways people interpreted their words was amazing. I loved the idea of making six frames
story from random words making it short and simple. It was wonderful experience illustrating the
words.”
