SANJEEV SAITH Sanjeev Saith was born in New Delhi in 1958 and has lived in the same house with his parents ever since. He studied at St. Columba’s High School, St. Stephens College and Delhi School of Economics and then climbed in the Himalayas for several years, making a living by selling his photographs of the mountains. Soon, photography itself began to interest him. In the last twenty years, his photographs have been published, exhibited and collected by several international galleries and museums including the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, Museum of Modern Art, New York and the Photographers’ Gallery, London. Sanjeev hopes to travel, improve his cooking and to learn to play an instrument. Testimonial Pratham Books are India’s finest publishers of books for children. I have been very fortunate to be part of their list. Their editorial and production staff are very accessible, committed and supportive. It was a pleasure to work with them and I shall be very glad to publish with Pratham Books again if given an opportunity. |
