Tulika

Tulika is an independent publishing house producing quality books for children. Their focus is to give children images of India they should growup with; images that go on to show how all parts of this world come together to make it a diverse and dynamic whole, a changing yet changeless continuum.Tulika publishes books in English, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.

The first ever book published by Read India Books was done so in partnership with Tulika. The beautifully illustrated book titled The Why-Why Girl written by Mahasweta Devi, was chosen as the launch book of the Read India campaign. The Kannada, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati versions were also usedby Pratham for the launch of the campaign.
